What are most of you guys useing for the rubber dampers under the meters ( speedo & tach ) on the 75 XS650 ?. My speedo just is loose and rotates this way then that as it is running, with nothing to stop it. Ideas ??
- these dampers are no longer available for the 75 model... part nr 371-83523-70-00 ..the earlier and later versions dont fit either...if you can get an old one, mask makers, orthopaedic technicians-those responsible for making prothesis etc can mould one for you from silicone based compound...i have a friend whose wife, an orthopaedic technician, made my last ones
- they list that part in their list... try emailing them vintagedirtandtrail@cox.net ...be aware that if they have them they will be original stock, old rubber parts and may not last long
