Mikes Stainless Rocker Plug/Bolt Issue

I purchased a set of the stainless allen head rocker plug/bolts from Mikes, and they will not thread more than one turn into the rocker cover. The stock plugs/bolts will thread in by hand. Checked each new bolt, and none of them will thread in. Anyone else had this issue? It may have something to do with the stainless threads being a harder steel and the threads just a hair taller? Any feedback is appreciated, thanks for the help.

A lot of Mikes products have been known to be inconsistent in quality to say the least. I've bought the same rocker plugs and they worked fine. I think you got a bad batch.
