Could anyone please tell me where to find the fuse box on a 1978 xs650e?

There is no fuse box on the Standard models, only one main fuse. On your '78, it should be located under the right side cover in a clear plastic holder. The holder also has room to carry a spare fuse .....

some knuckle-head po replaced the fuses in my friends 1980 special with self-reset breakers. It runs great, but.......don't know the harm in keeping that that way. Im his mechanic.
On my 71 it had a glass fuse like what 5t showed, with the extra holder. I upgraded to a 20 amp blade fuse. more reliable.

Thanks guys.No wonder I could not find a box. Looks like a po already put in the 20 amp as suggested. On to the next problem.
