hay i got one today i have a qustion mine is defrent than one in pic. loose end is on the other side and the ign.switch is pointed down ? but it looks very good just checking to make sure it's made corect

what's the spacing from outside of clamp to outside of other clamp, please? I think my battery box is gonna work out, but if not I may get one of these from you guys. But I'm worried there's not enough "bar" available between my seat mount stanchions to attach it. So if you get a chance to measure that, - that would be great. thx!
