My 79' Brat build

Here is an idea of the seat pan design. The leather is tooled, but needs finishing touches. (ie: cut out and have it mounted, also I have a second piece of leather I am going to use as a ring to go around the perimeter to clean up the edge. I ordered brass chicago screws to finish the look. I also split the leather on the outside to thin it out so it flexes over the marina foam.) The small piece I was thinking as using as a handle bar piece?

T-MESS,
You are getting there. I have not used Rustoleum paint on headers before, hope it stays. Good old Krylon header paint seemed to work well for me, and I had fenderwell headers.

Man I like that bike....just the way I want my frame ...maybe I missed it, is the frame work your own idea? Or did you buy a "kit" to modify the shock mounts? jumpin on mine soon as Im done spending money and time on my house .....Great work , Love it!

The seat is done......:D

Nice tooling on that seat. Are you going to use the 4" shock mount kit to mount it on the bike? Got 'em on e-gay for around $20 each.

Only about 5 months behind my projected finish date, but now the bike is wired and 99% DONE.

I just ordered yesterday: stainless steel brake line, new throttle cable, speedo cable, and a new set of shocks.

It still needs a tune up (jetting? runs lean with the straight pipes and pod filters)

polish front brake and clutch levers.
