hi guys well i,ve stripped and cleaned my cv38 carbys ,,, they were a pig style,, a total discrace ,,but not they are clean ,,, i have a question,,,,,there,s 2 smaller rubber tubes coming out the side about mid way down from the top of the carbys ,,,, they are short and the are clamped to the top inside bolt on each carby about 12-15 mmsticks out through the bracket on the top of the carbys ,,,, ...... what are these?????? i,ve forgotten sorry regards oldbiker

Float bowl vents. Don't interconnect them, they must breath.

Well you are in Australia where everything must be upside down but here in the US the vents point DOWN and are connected to a float bowl bolt.....
