My xs650F must be Special . . .

even though it's an F I just removed the sump and the filter/screen was not ripped. It doesn't look NOS mind you . . but not blown out as everyone's is. I just bought this bike from a forum member . . anywho . so what would you suggest I do to this filter to protect from a future blow out?? I like Seal All . what would you do?

Forgot to tell you the sump filter was replaced also. Hope you are pleased with your 'new' bike.

Well , just so I could stay in the club . . I took my "Brit" bike's sump down and I have the typical tear . . not terrible, but there.

Pete it is SPECIAL. Because it isn't a special.
I only know of, well less than 4 of the "F"'s.
The 77D-78E barn finds, even 71-73's pop up regular.
Not so the 79 F.

Yeah I know it's a cool bike. Doing oil changes on both bikes now so easy to compare things from '75 to a '79. Thanks
