I have the opportunity to get a 69 cb750 for cheap. Running but needs work. 6k miles needs head gasket. A little rough . Is anything I should know about these bikes
I just noticed something , " need advice on a cb 750 TWO STROKE " . I missed that part before , so what exactly are you looking at ? A '69 Honda cb750 was a 4 cyl. 4 stroke . As far as I know , no one made a 750 two stroke in '69 , Kawasaki came out with those a couple of years later . Both are very rare and sought after .
Don't wait , '69 cb 750 sand cast running , even if it is a piece of shit , goes for around $10 grand . Parts bikes with no title have sold for around $5 Gs if all the bits are there .
So, did it come with a '69 title ? How much did you pay for it ? What is the vin # ? Anything with a vin# from 10000001 to 1007414 is a true sand cast . They were made until Sept. '69 . After that , anything with a '69 or 70 title is still worth something to collectors , and you may have some prototype parts on it .
