Question about ex 500 carbs

Help again,
came across a thread about these and was wondering if that’s the way to go still .

I have an opportunity to get a set locally but need to jump on it.
In 3 days I’ve managed to make it 1/5 of the way through a 52 page post about it , and I’m guessing there are many others as well .

Figured I better ask right to the point.

I have a set on my road bike and like them so much I am refurbing another set for my tracker, so as far as I am concerned yes still the way to go.

Pretty much every thing needed to read is the first 20 pages. 10 mostly but a couple of tit bits from 10 to 20. Does seem to be some variation on set ups butt that could be due to different exhausts.
