Need Suggestion On Fix For Axle Plates

Hi all,

Just want to say that this forum rocks! Keep doin what you guys do best!

I am slowly getting through my first build, but I have ran into an issue with the wheels I bought and the axle diameter.

I got some spoke wheels off a cb350, had them powder coated, then realized that the axle diameter is smaller than the opening in the axle plates

Does anyone have any suggestions on a fix for this other than getting different axle plates?

Did not know if someone else has ran into this issue and came up with a solid solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I can help machine you a spacer that will take up the slack in the axle there.

I might be going the same rear wheel route you have taken on mine.
