Hi All,

I need to order in some replacement O-rings to rebuild my 1975 BS38's. Some searching has led me to a Thick, ID Viton O-ring.

I'm thinking I'll just buy a pack from McMaster, since the QTY 25 is about how much 2 would be from MikesXs.

It looks like Part# 9263K284 should do it. Yes/No?

Is there any other little McMaster part I need to order to rebuild the Carbs? What was the P/N for the throttle shaft seals? I already ordered and installed some from 650Central, but having backups would be sweet.

Bonus shots of my old Throttle shafts and the Oring after 38 years of usage!

I ordered the 25-pack from McMaster-Carr for the nozzle Viton o-rings for your carbs. You can have a pair for a couple bucks. Sending you a PM.

Yes, the size you linked to is correct, 1mm thick x 4mm I.D. There really are no other o-rings in your carb set. There is a "quad" style o-ring that can be used for a substitute throttle shaft seal but the originals are really better. Since they're still available for a reasonable price from Yamaha and last like 20 years, I recommend them.
