New Front Tire Options

I currently own a 2016 Road Glide and run the Shinko 777 tires and what a difference in handling. The rear tire is made more like a sport bike tire... this will be an issue with wear on long trips due to its shape but it makes a 850lb bike feel much lighter in turns. I love em... I'm not to concerned with mileage because I have an issue with twisting the throttle a bunch. With 130ft lbs torque .... tire doesn't have a chance. The $$$$ is right though... I got both front and rear tires for less then the price of one Dunlop rear. I've installed them for several people and they are happy as well. I did notice on my bike the front tire needs to be about 4 to 5 lbs higher in pressure then factory recommended.

In the good old days the motorcycle magazine staff would gather up a shit load of tires, a few accomplished (or not) riders, find a set course or route and run the piss out of tires. That is how we made buying decisions in the old days. Is there a comparable way today?
