Slowly but steadily I've been taking her apart and cleaning her up. Painted the frame for now, new season I'll shave some unneeded parts and have her powder coated. Got the motor cleaned a little and just painted the tank. She's about ready for a new harness and to fire up.

I noticed that you painted the left (shift side) cover black...but the right (brake) side isn't...will you paint that black as well?

I'm going to paint the word Yamaha black and give it a brushed aluminum look. I still have a few more pieces to paint but I'm ready to get her running again haha

Did a little mock up today, hopefully next weekend the new tires will be on and everything will be buttoned up to get her running

Interesting headlights... I didn't see that coming.

Although you might consider dropping them a little lower on the forks...I think it will help with the lines of the bike...especially if you're still going with a cafe style seat.
