Hello to all fellow bikers.
I've been hanging around the back room for awhile trying to learn all I can . Very interesting and informing. I have a 73 TX650 that I bought new in 73,it has 15543 miles and was in need of some work. So I've started a rebuild to freshen it up. I've had a bit of misfortune unfortunately. I've loaded up some picks for you all to see. Hopefully I can find the part I need or solve it some how.
I have a broken damper rod assy, trying to snug it down. I was using the copper fittings on the lower allen screw from Mike's, and now I'm wondering if they are suppost to be fiber? Let me know what you think. The one pic is what the bike looked like before I started the rebuild, and the frame assy and rear wheel redone, and the broken upper damper.
