XS-IVE Habit
XS650 Addict
Hello XS Guys and Gals.
Just wanted to put out a bit on myself, I have been riding for about 7 years, mostly on the dirt with my dad. Now I am 19 and a student at UNC-Wilmington. When I out grew my dirt bike I held off riding for a few years until my dad purchased a Royal Enfield Bullet, to cure his desire for a british motorcycle. Now I had to get a bike. I was sitting with my grandfather listening to his countless stories on motorcyles and I asked what his favorite was. 1975 Yamaha XS 650B. So i was determined if it beat Suzuki TS185's, Suzuki 500 Titans, Indian Chiefs it must be good.
Long Story short, this labor day weekend my dad and I will be hopping in our little Toyota, driving a short 719 miles (one way) to Michigan and picking up... my new 1975 Yamaha XS 650b. Here is the dirt on the bike....
1975 XS 650, completely original down to the original tires. Original paint etc... 7714 miles on it. First kick everytime, all electronics work, paint has no chips or fade. And it's all mine.
The bike has nothing on it that is not stock, just the way I like it, no chopping or bobbing this one. It sat in a climate controlled storage unit from 1978 until 2008. I am quite happy and impatient if you can only imagine. Pictures will come when I get her home and polish that black and gold a bit. It's good to be here guys.
