XS650 New Member
I have an 82 xs 650 with a starting problem I believe it needs a pik-up coil, have not been able to locate one, would like to find a new one, any help out there? and no xs650.com does not stock them!!

Are you sure your battery is fully charged? The TCI needs proper voltage to work right. Have you measured the pick-up coils resistance? There are 2 coils and should be around 700 ohms each.
Are your carbs in good condition? If the choke system is not working then engine will be very hard to start.
