Guys, The silencers slide on to the heads pipes and are really loose fit, After installation the joint between the two seems to be to loose, The kit did not include any special clamps. Should I put some kind of adhesive on the head pipe before I install the muffler. The muffler will not fall off, it has a mounting bracket to the frame, But i am sure that there will be an exhaust leak. Any suggestions, Thanks

The half mile pipes come with clamps like in the pic. I'd guess the hooligans do also, not sure about the mile pipes.

Thanks Racerdave, I have been working on bikes for 30 years and thought there should have been clamps, I will call Robert, I might have some Harley clamps that will work.

Dave, did you ever get your pipe fitment issues resolved?

Dave, look at the pics in my link and tell me what you think? :

They are better in the pics with the seat cowl vs the first try with the oem seat and side covers, but? Maybe as good as it gets? I still think the mufflers themselves need some type of support/hanger off the frame. They are like yours now, hanging only off the headpipes.
