On the fence about shocks

Hey guys, I want to replace my stock shocks I'm using on my bobber. seeing as how they're 45 years old i'm assuming it's about time. I found these on ebay. Anyone have any experience or advice?

Apparently re-fitting/working these shocks is a side line business for this fellow.

So I think you could safely say the purchase price isn't the only cost with these.

Thanks weekend kinda answers my question. I would assume at that price there would be another "cost" to go with it. I'll probably just go back to stock.

I threw these on my RD build. They are a bit stiff but at my weight (~235) it's not bad especially when they break in. I'm not expecting too much from them because of the price, but I'm also not raving the bike so don't need superior or specific handling characteristics. YMMV. Also I would like to add I had a pair of the Monza shocks from Mikes and these blow those out of the water
