Maybe we should send the test piece to @Mailman and see how it does in his fuel.
UPS or FedEx Ground should be able to carry it. Their websites probably list restrictions.
Haha! It could be my third layer of tank liner!

What's the normal cost for the traditional liner kits (Redcoat... POR15...etc.)?
You're right. I think you can coat a 650 Special tank 1/2 inch thick all the way around if you use the entire quantity provided. I agree that it does two tanks.https://www.amazon.com/Secure-Shipping-Storage-Quantity-gallon/dp/B0157BN6IO
I just had a Caswell tank liner kit delivered. The cans are secured with the clips linked to above, and then placed in a plastic bag with a twist-tie.
Cost was $65 delivered for enough to do two tanks (although they no longer recommend using it for two tanks. This is B.S. There is plenty for two stock XS650 tanks). I chose a colored kit. The clear kit is $10 less.
Yes... please do.Will up date you in many months time.
Anyone know a nurse or doctor in the Detroit area, I hear they are allowed to cross easy and Windsor is just south of there, yes you can go south to get to the US from Canada!Yes... please do.
Pete's tank does have this primer in it. I still have it. Shipping to Canada is stupid expensive, so a cross boarder "smuggle" is on hold 'till the border reopens. Hopefully by early spring...
...every time I see this thread come up, I get all excited - and then I remember that the FUCKING border is closed.
It’s only about an 11 hour drive to Jim’s place from here and when the time is right, DAMMIT, I’M COMIN’ OVER!

CASWELL GAS TANK SEALER KIT - "RESISTANT" TO MODERN FUEL
Resistant sounds like Almost
So your thinking no to the Caswell ?Difference 'tween "proof" and "resistant".....
Fire proof means it won't burn.
Fire resistant means it'll still burn... it just doesn't want to.
Never used it so I can't give an opinion. Here's what I can opine on though....So your thinking no to the Caswell ?
