i'm looking for a couple of replacement oem parts, or advice on aftermarket/replacement/handcrafted options. my bike is a 1980 xs650sg. it has both fr/rr disc brakes...

The XS650 does NOT use a CDI, it uses a TCI. Now thats out of the way lets answer your questions.
Ebay has used TCI boxes from about $50 up to NOS for over $500. It may be cheaper to convert from the stock TCI to the Pamco Universal Ignition. Mike's has several kits to fit your 80 bike. Look around the forum and you will find plenty of info about the swap.
The #256-25367-00-00 generally comes as a unit with #90387-20176-00. Thats the spacer that the collar fits on.
Finding on may be hard. I looked for weeks and couldn't find one, I finally use a spacer that was too short, but had the collar fit the wheel right and cut another spacer to fit the space between the too short spacer and the brake caliper bracket.
So I have two short spacers instead of one longer spacer. Good luck in your search.
