Has anyone else noticed a slight play in the 2 piece Performance XS rotor? It has no play if I try and move it by hand but if I hold on the front brake and push the bike forward you can feel a bit of play. Is this to allow for expansion when the disk heats up or do I have a bad disk?

Dear Dave maybe you should have understood what full floating rotor meant before you tapped out this post!!!

Sincerely

Sorry for the unnecessary post.

I would suggest checking your steering bearing tension.........

One who will go nameless chased a rotor issue for several days or more before the steering bearing was retensioned. Tapered bearings often need to be snugged up after few rides. a light click on braking was the clue..........

thanks gggary that was the first thing I checked when I noticed it. All was fine and I actually could see the slight movement of the floating disk when I locked up the front and gave it a push.
