Plug wires!

Coil to where the leads connected. Looks as if it is molded into one piece and nothing that unscrews.

EMPI is an aftermarket VW parts supplier. Not sure if their stuff is available where you are ....

Yes, you can probably reuse your old wires for the time being, just prep the ends like I did in the picture in post #2. Swapping plug wires is a simple job and is something you could do later once you track down some nice silicone wires in the color you want.
