Plugs and Caps

I have read number of threads on this topic but, maybe I'm a slow learner. A quick question before I replace my wiring - stock points and coils so.....
7mm copper cored HT leads, non-resistor NGK plug caps, Champion BP7ES plugs.
Does this sound right?

That very combination has worked well for me so far.

Either the plug or the cap has is supposed to be the resistor type. Caps are 5K ohms stock.

Uh, BP7ES is an NGK number,David.

NGK BP7ES plugs, not Champions. The stock plug caps were resistor type but with points you don't need them. Get the NGK non-resistor caps, the LZFH .....
