Possible Cracks in Case...or Mould Marks? You decide

I am enclosing some pix of my case on my 81 XS650H to ask the experts if they think I need to replace the crankcase before a rebuild/cleanup. They appear to be stress cracks on the left side only. After running a small pick over them to see if I could feel the crack, I'm still not sure.These are the best pix I could get. Please advise.

It's hard to tell with pictures but can it be just cracks in the clearcoat ?

I think it's deeper than that. I know the crack over the plugged pin hole is definately a crack but I can't figure out how that came to crack there since the hole was never used for a pin or screw.

They're casting marks. You're fine. My '81 has them also, in the same place.

My 72 also has marks like that

My '78 has them also... pretty sure they are harmless, but to me they look like flaws in the casting that could be weak.

Okay...there seems to be a consensus that they are mould marks and that they are harmless.
I will go with that.
