quick question

on a 79 xs650 with bs 34 carbs the only reason for the vacuum ports is for tuning and vacuum petcocks am i right of am i missing somthing

You can connect them together with some 3/16 ID tuing.....autozone or such.....smoothes it out some more at low throttle....... those carbs are lean ....

'Bout right.
With a manual petcock, I've linked the two barbs together with a length of vacuum hose ala PamcoPete suggestion.

thank you it has been swiched to manul petcock so ill just run a tube from 1 to the outher
