Hey Guys,
My welder buddy went way out of his way on his last day off to weld up my Caliper Bracket lug... I'm over the moon... but I wish he had welded up some more on the back side of the lug so I could have given it some more shape.... Its a freebee on a Sunday so I smiled and thanked him generously.
Took some time this evening to clean up the welds... only took like 5 minutes and 6 licks with a file and it was all done....
5 minutes later....
PS He said there were quite a bit of impurities in the cast aluminum but absolutely weldable.
