Attempting to rebuild an older model front master cylinder. I was able (with a lot of effort) to removed the hydraulic which is 15.8mm at its widest section. Seen a 16mm bore rebuild advertised but the parts don’t match the original I pulled (pic of old and what is advertised attached). Anyone have experience with this? What rebuild kit have you used for the round cap model master cylinder?

Thanks

Build progress pic added for fun :)

You’re better off cleaning up the original parts and re-installing. The kits they offer now (EMGO) don’t really do a good job. I’ve had one lose pressure.
I will definitely attempt. The only part that is broken beyond repair is the end rubber stopper that covers the c clip. Maybe a rebuild kit replacement would fit?
