Not had much success improving clutch drag so today I took out two of the springs (done this before on a Ducati) and now have an extremely light lever, easy neutral hot or cold and very progressive engagement. Didn't really abuse it but no slipping yet on a carefree test ride with hills and twists (newish EBC plates). I searched but can't see if anyone else tried this? If it does slip I'll try alternative springs/spacers/combinations but will persue this as it feels like a different bike to ride.

interesting Idea.
The 650 clutch is generally considered to be marginally strong enough even with all 6 springs. Slip usually shows up first at about 5,000 RPM. if you never go up there, and aint a boy racer from stops, 4 springs might work for you.
