Hi again,

I have just completed the mounting of the piston, jugs, and rocker head, but I have a doubt before I torque everything. There is a gap between the rocker head and the cylinder on the right side of the engine.

Am I ok to torque everything? (I did set the cam with the mark in the center). tks in advance

1. Ensure that the 2 hollow dowel pins are clean (not burred or bent) and fully seated, and aren't creating interference.

2. Totally back-off (or remove) the valve adjuster screws. There'll always be a valve or two trying to push up against a rocker.

3. A thin coat of sealer should be applied to the camcover mating surfaces before fitting it.

Tks Texans Pal,

1. ok have checked and all in order. That was my first tough.

2. Did not know we could remove the valve adjuster screw. (is that the ones you see in the middle of the pic?)

3. tks for the advise, will do so.

Tks I slightly unscrew the valve adjuster and it fitted right in. Tks for yr help everyone.
