The last inch of the wire to my neutral switch is very frayed. i want to cut off the old connector (shown below) and reconnect a new one. Anyone know where i can get the connector or have an alternative suggestion?

I tried to recover the original but it broke.

I already cut the wire so please help :)

I cant see the image but if you mean the lug that goes under the little screw on the switch I use a small crimp lug and cut the end out of it, then solder and heat shrink. If you still have the rubber boot that covers the switch don't forget to push it on the wire first.

Yes, just find a small eye crimp that fits the little screw on top of the switch and cut a notch through the side.

If you look carefully you might find a hole through the post in the switch, like mine has. Push down the spring and stick bare wire through the hole and release the spring.
