I'm doing a rebuild of the forks on my 76 and the springs that I bought at mikesxs are about 4 inches longer that the ones I pulled out. Are the old ones just really compressed or do I have the wrong springs?
Well... Everything went together just fine. I'm having the same issue as Knucks below was having. My forks won't spring back up very easily. I know that my forks aren't bent and the tubes slid up and down in the lowers and seals just fine until I tightened the bolt that holds the upper and lower together. Is it just too tight?
