I love my hardtail, old school look and ride....however, you have to keep a look out for the small bumps and cracks in the road...big bumps will mess up everyone hard or softails....if your not a good rider the hardtail will knock you down. A hardtail is not the right bike for a long distance trip....cross country or a 500 miles a day trip...and i know that some people on the forum will disagree..just how i feel...
