Drove the interstate to Green Bay and saw the heaviest salt clouds I’ve ever seen. Thought at first it was ground fog. Must be all the brine they are using these days. In the past on a nice sunny 35 degree day in February I would get out the bike and ride a bit. Not anymore ! Going to take a good couple of spring downpours before I get out. I bet enclosed trailer sales are going up .
 
They do that here too. The roads are white and dusty until a rain washes them off. The car wash owners like it though.

I wonder if car washes always use fresh water or do the cheap bastards recycle?
I'd hate to think I was de-icing my vehicle's undercarriage with recycled road salt solution.
