Was visiting Bernie down at the auto parts store and during the B.S. sessions a story was told.
Seems there was a couple in the county that heated their home primarily with wood. The husband took sick before he could get his winter supply in. Not sure what to do and on a limited income the wife came down to Bernie's and asked if she could put a sign in the window. Bernie agreed and she placed the sign that said......" In need of firewood. Will barter. Call 812-555-1234 "
About a week later the wife came back in to Bernie's to remove the sign.
"Did you get some firewood?" asked Bernie.
"No! I'm just tired of answering the phone to people looking to talk to Will Barter." she replied.
