The bike had 13,000 miles on the odometer and I was told it had been stored in a dry environment since around 1980. The rotor (disc) thickness is 0.274" (6.9596mm) using a digital caliper. Brake pads look great but could benefit by scuffing them up a little. I did not separate the master cylinder and caliper when removing the disc assembly, so while changing fluid and bleeding the system is necessary because the fluid is old, the seals are not leaking and should be usable as is. That said, it's always easier to change seals while parts are off the bike.

Too bad you didn't have this when I put the disc on the back of my 75. It would have saved me a lot of mistakes on buying the wrong parts.

Sorry Bill, just saw your message to me and I missed your 7PM deadline. I had to work late and just checked my messages. I vouched that I wanted them and would like the opportunity to purchase them. Didn't realize there was such a short fuse on this. Please see my message to you.
