Sorry for your loss, friends are special. A timely reminder about deer, too. Our favorite time of day to ride is the last couple of hours before dark. I like to think we are really careful, but last night I passed three right on the edge of the road that I never saw but should have.

Sorry Bill. A friend of mine was killed by a deer while we were dirtbike riding together of all things. He had proper gear on but he hit it too hard and didn't make it.
