Special vs. Heritage Special seats

If you look at Scott's Pops bike, the grab bar has been removed along with the brick tail light. The rear fender hasn't been replaced but a Lucas style repro tail light has been mounted where the old license lamp was, probably utilizing the two existing holes and adding an upper hole for the repro light. It's a simple swap, a beautiful upgrade.

For me, and my 82 SJ, that's almost exactly what I want to do and I never ride 2-up so don't have that concern. I have an LED tail light waiting to be fitted but want to do that, the seat and lose the grab rail in one hit.

For the MikesXS seat, are there any other changes needed? Any bracketry to remove, for example?

Last time I looked, MikesXS no longer had the cafe seat for the Specials.
