Speedo delete/front axle assembly - need some help

I'm using HHB speedo delete. Do I need to remove that ring with the tabs? It looks like it mates up to the speedo assembly.There's also a little spring type o-ring in there that's just floating around. What do I need to remove in order to use the speedo delete?

You just replace the entire stock speedo drive with whatever you got from z
HHB. There should be no need to do any disassembly on the stock drive. Just clean and grease it, and keep it for later change of mind, or sell it.

That metal spring is from your seal… looks like you need a new one.

HHB instructions says to remove the drive tabs as well. I had to on both of mine because they hit the bottom of the eliminator. HHB also says a seal is not necessary but optional. I would recommend using a new one.
