Stalling in first gear problems

Gents...evening.

Apologise for another clutch question but I have been reading all day and cant find an answer.

Problem is if I put bike into gear it jumps forward and dies immediately.

Engine rebuilt
New worm mechanism..ball is there
Single push rod
New cluch cable properly routed
Tried the adjustment procedure 100 times..

Opened clutch and all looks good...cleaned and sanded plates...it wed for about a minute after this the started to creep forward and then stalled??

It seems im not getting enough travel to actuate the rod and disengage the clutch?

My thinking is maybe the aftermarket lever is using up cable that would allow the worm to starting from the 7 o clock position..because with cable engaged its more at the 9 o clock position
