Stuff my dog says; on second thought I'll just build a race car

So, not sure that anyone has even thought to make the connection here much less spent time thinking about it but my stuff is OK. My family actually went out of town that day because none of the forecasts we had seen gave any indication of severe weather at the time.
The tornado in north Nashville missed my house by a little less than a mile and my current job by a couple hundred yards. It went right over top of my old job damaging everything around them severely but only minor damage to them. If anyone has seen the video of the fireball caused by the tornado that sub station is the one that sent power to my house and we were without power from Saturday afternoon to midday Monday at the house. Work didn't get power back until Wednesday morning.

I found the following on the "Dark Web":

Not to bring that down too hard because I did chuckle too, but that can't happen for real now at that location. Where those pictures were taken was basically stripped of trees from what I've seen on news coverage.

Driving the car to work tomorrow so it can spend some time in the shop.....and hopefully get the supercharger hooked up. Haven't started it since the drive in November so went out and ran it for a few minutes in the trailer tonight.

It is a shit ton of pages back, but what is that inline 6 propelling this animal?

It's a 230 cubic inch Jeep inline six from 1965. Single overhead camshaft hemi head, pre AMC ownership of Jeep it's actually the Kaiser/Willys flathead 6 block (which traces it's roots to a Continental tractor) with the fancy head on it.

It's almost certainly less powerful than you're thinking it is being factory rated back then a140hp, and this one is stuck sipping through a carburetor from a 4 cylinder International engine so making even less than that currently. It does look and sound cool though and those are the important things.

37F drive in this afternoon, they're brining the main road through town preparing for snow and ice tomorrow, and traffic is bad with people panic shopping. The car is to the shop now though.

With the car in the shop and the weather nice today I took the opportunity to take the front end apart and paint it the darker blue.

Pretty! Been wondering how things were going.
Work is about all I've been doing but it's been fun. I've been designing chassis/suspension stuff after hours and building stuff during hours so haven't left much time for myself. Did place two aluminum orders and received the one so start on the intake soon.
Went ahead and added white primer to the front suspension mounting points while it was apart tonight and I'll reassemble it tomorrow. Then over the next few days get the rear arms painted in the darker blue and primer around the rear shock mounts.
