Which is better early swing arm (longer) or late swing arm (Shorter)

Later swingarms are about 1 1/2" longer. I'll stick with my stock older/shorter swingarm.

Oh later longer early shorter I have a late one now but come across a early one which looks more the age on the café
I certainly don't wont the back wheel closer then it is now

depends on what type of riding you want to do.the shell racing swingarm was shorter than the later model swingarms
