TCI coil power?

Anyone know (beyond smart-ass conjecture) just how hot the stock TCI coil really is? PamcoPete?

It was good enough to go to production with and not have problems because of it. Is that a good enough answer? Would it shoot a spark you could hunt ducks with like the Greenie Meany? I don't know.

I know Pete has answered this question. I just can't remember what the number was for sure but the #'s 7-9kv comes to mind.

I seem to recall testing the stock TCI coil and it produced about 35,000 Volts, which is more than 3 times what the stock points coils produce.

That's getting close to a respectable output... Could I be safe in assuming that it can put a healthy amount of current into that 35KV? It's a pretty big coil and low primary resistance, in my mind that adds up to good spark energy.
