A Pamco is a great option.

Its the best option but money's a little tight right now. Has anyone tried a cdi from a different machine?

Someone might have a TCI box on site for a 650. Place an add. Someone might cut you a break on the price.
A CDI box won't work. The CDI is a totally different beast than the TCI.
