The Super Blue Moon Eclipse on January 31, 2018

Clouds got in the way at the last minute for the eclipse,
but the early morning sun in the side yard, just a minute ago, was worth waiting for:

It happened here in Tennessee at 5:30am. Super moon, blue moon, blood moon, lunar eclipse.Did i see it? Gawd no!!! A long time ago during a daylight savings transition The days went from bright and cheerful mornings to getting up an hour earlier in the pitch black darkness. Although I’d been getting up before dawn for years before that something clicked. Maybe it was just the fact that for some stupid reason we are still enforcing the day light savings that got to me but from then on I refuse to get up before the sun. Unless I’m fishing! Some Indian somewhere once said in regards to daylight savings: only the white man thinks he can make a blanket longer by cutting off the top and sewing it to the bottom.
