Thinking of a rephase

Thanks! I've been noticing that name coming up in a good number of searches. When I get this thing apart and ready to go I'll give him a ring.

The 650 crank is a pressed on crank and it takes 20ton to do it. They can be rebuilt 3 times, usually, before they become loose and need to be welded. If you are going to do wheelies and thrash the engine it is imperative you get the crank welded. If you are an everyday rider who just wants to ride and enjoy, even riding hard without dropping the clutch, the crank does not havre to be welded.
Once the crank has been fully welded then it can't be rebuilt, its a throw away. Sure there may be lots of cranks out there but they are getting more expensive and it's harder to find a good one that does not need to be rebuilt.
