I'm not out to make other's happy. I'm building this bike for me. there is a lot of work into it in 6 months that i have had it. The front fender was nixed. I found one at a swap meet. I matches the back one better. I have forward controls that we made at work. Grips and foot pegs. They are not on yet. Just picked up a panhead oil tank. Im going to put that under the seat for all the electronics and key. Battery box is almost done made of 6061 alum. Has a window in it with acrilic that is going to light up. I picked it up for 200 buck with 5500 miles on it. On the first fire it shout out nut shells form the pipes. After 30+ years of sitting i was amazed how it ran.
I've got no patience for resto-nazi's, but then the café I'm building is going to wind up with a Ninja swingarm and KTM dirt bike forks if I can manage to lower them enough. Go for the look you want. If its traditional, great, if it isn't, even better.
