While I was cutting the casing on the extended cable I got from MikesXS, I accidentally knicked the cable itself. This is causing problems with the travel in and out of the cable housing. I need a new one, but can't seem to find a supplier that sells just the inside cable without the housing. The local dealer only sells them for specific bikes.

Any ideas or am I forced to buy another extended cable from MikesXS?

Are you saying that all you want is the metal cable that's inside of the casing? Don't think I've ever seen it sold like that.

I can't think of the name right now. There is a place that sells all the components to build cables.
Just a thought, Bicycle cables. The brake cables my be to heavy, the shifter cables may be about right.
Just did a goggle on cable components. www.flanderscables.com may have what you need.

I think im a little confused on what/where the damage on the cable is. got any pics? I modified the hell (think cut off wheel hell) out of the cable of my xr100, works like a charm too. Even looks stock haha
