i have done some reading on here about this toipc. i really want to use the P-nut tank, but it will not work unless you dont use the top motor mount or modify it. So do you need it at all? what do you all think?

Not using the top engine mount will put more strain on the other mounts, eventually breaking the case by the rear mount.
Using the top engine mount stiffens the frame, giving better handling.

It's a bit squirrely without the top mount. I left mine off after a top end rebuild for the ease of torquing after so many miles but- quickly put it back on.

what exactly do you mean by "squirrely"? was it nuts?
