Bike has to go. The latest project calls for more bread. You know how it goes.

Engine:
stock bottom end (1980)
new seals/gaskets/stainless hardware
new rings on a fresh hone
starter delete
new stator

rebuilt cylinder head (1981)
new seals/gaskets/stainless hardware
3 angle valve job
machined valve seats
relieved combustion chamber
port & polish
decked

new cam chain, tensioner, and keeper
new clutch discs
new oil filters
using NGK plugs w/ stock TCI ignition
530 O-ring chain
stainless steel high pipes

High gloss black powder coated frame, engine mounts, headlight bucket, and triple trees
jockey shifter uses stock brake pedal assembly from another frame for the clutch with a '69 VW Beetle rod & knob selector
slightly modified LowBrow rigid kit (about 3" stretch and 4" drop)
Sportster tank w/ stock XS petcock mounted off the side
stock wheels/hubs w/ rear drum only
Firestone Deluxe Champs w/ new tubes

Bike comes with extra parts and requires new carbs. The stock carbs always had a big vacuum leak and now the bike will hardly run due to that issue. When running, this bike was very fast for a 650- plenty of folks will testify. Front wheel will come a good foot off the ground. These pics are from Autorama last year. The bike is a little dirtier now after riding last summer and currently has riser bars on it. Like is said though, it comes with a bunch of stuff including the bars that are pictured.

A buddy just offered me a set of functional CS carbs so I'll be throwing those on to get the bike running before it goes to where ever.
