Turn Signals

It's a 79 Special. When I turn on the right turn signal both front and rear come on but don't flash until 3000 - 3500 RPM. Turn on left side and nothing (no lights) but clicking in flasher. Bulbs all good and all are 1156. New battery with full charge and alternator is doing what it is supposed to do. Is this a switch or flasher issue? If it's the flasher can I replace with a automotive application? Thanks

For a few bucks you can try the automotive 552 relay. Lots of information if you search. But you may have a short in the wires. Trying tracing the connections.
